Hi,

After a wonderful session at the pond in Safety Bay, I was packing up rushing as usual to pick up my daughter at the child care centre and left my GA Harness hanging on one of the timber bollards... Damn it!!
The harness looks like the one below.
If anyone finds it, it would be great to recover it as it was quite new and I loved it

Because when you rig up and down there is no routine. Especially when rigging down develop a routine and keep all your **** together and do a final check before you click the seatbelt and turn the key. Wife and kids can wait and extra 60 seconds.

Make a practice of always going back to where you rigged after you have packed the car to check you haven't left anything behind. Especially if you are in a hurry. It is so easy to forget little things like a screwdriver, or big things like a mast if you are chatting to your mates.

I have a routine and everything has a place in the car.
The harness is aways hung on my boom inside the car to dry.
Some how I still managed to lose my harness and nobody has picked it up .
The only difference to my routine was that I parked in the carpark at
Melville Waters and not on the side of the road near the play equipment.
I only realised it was missing when I went for a windsurf two weeks later.
Routines are very important, but like others at Melville, we all like to have a chat and look at other peoples gear. It does not take much to distract you from your routine and I may have been distracted and placed it somewhere else.
It did give me an excuse to buy new gear
