For the non Facebook users, I have setup a mini poll on facebook

WWA had a great meeting with Yachting WA last weekend regarding junior coaching. There are a few ideas brewing for the coming season but I need your feedback

Who would like to become an accredited Windsurfing Coach?
Preferred coaching session location?
- Melville
- Safety Bay
- Peli Point
- Add any other suitable locations as reply to the topic.
Would you take kids to WWA events if there was a kids event?

Great idea!

I have a soon-to-be 10yo who would be deadly keen on competing if there was a kids race.

Melville is the best spot I reckon; very safe, flat water, no boats, put a mark on the sand bar for them to go around.

I have an 8yo & 4yo who i think would be super keen if more kids were involved
I'm willing to take them up to Melville but the Pond is too close to pass up most days.
Definitely keen to get them into events.

On the second question, YES, definitely!
I started taking my 7yo daughter to do some sessions in Safety Bay last summer, and she openly said every time it would be more fun if more kids were there.

On the first question, whereas I'd love to help becoming a windsurf coach, I have too much going on at the moment. However I am happy to assist in those events I could attend with my daughter.
