Hi Everyone,

Just over one week until the start of the 09 Lancelin Ocean Classic…

Please remember that all registration lodged online within 72 hours of the event must be paid for at the beach, as the payments may not show up on our bank statement for transactions received after the Thursday… so why not enter today???

As always if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks again to Eventscorp and see all the information @ www.lancelinoceanclassic.com.au

See you all at the event.

Does pre-registration get an early alocation of starting position or are the start positions all allocated by when you turn up to on the day at the registration desk?

Hi Evets,

Yes the earlier you get your rego in the better your starting position.

The forecast is looking great for the event so you might want to get your rego in today.

All the best,

I just went to register and found the following:

1) I didn't realise that you only accept payment by cheque (Paypal or credit card isn't accepted). Obviously cheques take time to be posted and cleared.
2) You need your WWA registration number handy (which you can't find by logging into the WWA website)

This means I can't register today. Hopefully this message prepares some other people who do things at the last minute.

I am planning on entering on the day (depending on conditions and a few other things), I did that last year and am assuming that can be done this year.

Can I pay with cash (not cheque) on the day ? Is there an extra fee for entering that way like there used to be ? The standard open division fee on the entry form is $80 is that correct ?

Hi Everyone,

It is no problem to enter on the day you can pay by cash also, we will have no late fees if you enter on the day. Also don't worry about the WWA rego numbers.

The cost for the open division is $80 which includes your race pack and T-Shirt.

It is super windy up here in Lano today and the forecast looks great for the event.

See you all soon.

Hey Nebs, turns out they do not need your WWA # and you can do a bank transfer
