Hi guys,

I work in kwinana and live south of the river (takes about 30min from kwinana). Does any one know where the nearest waves to kwinana are that are sailable on a normal summer arvo? I used to sail scarbs / mettams but worked in the city so the drive wasnt too bad.

If the conditions where good I could justify a trip to avalone or elsewhere in mandurah but normally they need a bit of swell to make it worthwhile.

Cheers,

Cheers, Does any sail at those places regularly in summer? Or will I be the only one out.

I know about safety bay, but I only have wave gear and much prefer waves to flat water stuff.

Secret harbour i have been told is mainly full of kiters?

Filthy - shhhhh about that summer place
Look on the bright side, you are close to the only two winter places worth thinking about.

Word.

Yeh winter will be good for quick after work sessions. Finish around 4 most days, but can probably get out early for one off windy days in winter. Still its a while before the fronts start to kick in solid.
