No way.

Either global warming is far more pronounced than it was a year ago, or I'm seeing things:

Easterly in the morning... check.
Swing southerly at lunchtime... check.
Turn off at sunset... check.

Roll on summer!!

Was there just a bag full of yellow arrows some one dropped or did you see wind. It was very light here (but sunny and fun for surfing)

Very strange, I haven't noticed seabreezes this early before, but it's been happening the last few days.

maybe later this week...though most of the seabreeze 1 week out forecasts turn to crap in the end.

Maybe in Austria where you live, but here in Perth they're usually pretty good. Especially in Summer, when weather systems are easier to model. Winter is a bit harder, even the newsreader on the telly last week mentioned that different weather model results were conflicting for the weekend just gone.

I tend to agree with yoyo, even if he is in Austria!
Seabreezes weather data comes from BOM and they only do 4 days, even for the special forecasts for clients like Woodside etc. So Im not sure who makes up the other 3 days?

Neb, the wind isnt hard to forecast as you say but swell forecasts here 1 week ahead are pretty poor. Often they just seem to keep drawing the line in whatever direction its going at 4 days

I reckon that whoever does the last 3 days is dangling a carrot on a stick to keep us addicts enthusiasts coming back. Sometimes it feels like there's a 25knt forecast 5 or 6 days away that progressively moves further away every time I come back to check.
