I am about to venture north to Broome for at least two years and not sure if it worth taking my windsurfing gear with me.

Is there anyone out there with experience of Sailing in Broome?

Otherwise I may just have to sell all my gear :(

The pond will be a fond memory

You can sail there but you need big gear most of the time unless there is a cyclone i used to have a land sailor on a big skate board deck with extended axles and inflated tyres of a golf trolley with placky rims i used to sail for miles on cable beach its lots of fun and you don't need much wind and you could do some awesome power slides on it because the hard sand makes perfect for this !

Just don't do it in the on the nude beach -- could end up with a nasty little rash
