24 unit is amazing no problems flipping. Seen the ozone flux and Armstrong xps flip a lot more. but that's flagged out in waves, do you mean when wings on the water?

I don't know about the 5m, but I've found the 4m & smaller have less propensity to flip over in the water than previous units.

I didn't have version 1, but V4 is definitely better than V2 & V3. It can still flip of course, but noticeably less than the older ones.

I have the 5m 2024 and a 4m DLab 2023. The 5 m flips but seems calmer. Great wing. I like the long front handle.

Without a doubt these flip very easily onto their backs - very noticeable after moving to these from another wing brand.
Have a 5m 2023 unit which is better behaved than my 4m 2024 unit - but they both flip often.
Not a deal breaker as they are otherwise good wings, but bloody annoying.

Keeping the leash shorter i.e pull it in quickly when the wing has been let go somewhat improves things.

How do you find the 24's front handle, is it stiff enough as the '22 is like a noodle and I believe the 23 is the same?

Another question; how is the high end of the 24's in smaller sizes?

I suggest this review, adressing the flip over question briefly in an objective manner !

I think it's the big "kink" in the strut. The original Slick didn't have and it never flipped over (but it broncoed on the leash). The Slick SLS has probably the most bent strut and it lands upside down by default (but it's also easy to flip it back).

Yeah, the strut is less kinked on the latest Slick.

What's the low end of the 5m for you? My board is a semi sinker -20l.

I'm same position as you, approximately negative 25L board
Riding the 5m 2023 SLS with the right foil I can have fun in 8knots easy but you need correct pump technique and you need a good medium aspect foil

Great! Sounds like 12-13knots should be ok with good pumping technique then.
