If that was my first set up I would of really struggles at 78kgs. my spot usually has heavy side chop, straight on shore.
so I would say depends on natural ability and local conditions.
How large of board and foil would you think would work if you were starting out?
I started on a 125 Naish and 2000cm low aspect foil. im now on a 95lt, and HA1400, but I still can't gybe. I think I could of started on the 110. I think it totally depends on local conditions and skill, my skills aren't great. I see so many vids of wind and flat water, where I go if you get wind it gets choppy and swell.
