Compared to my current foils (AFS Enduro and Silk V2) the Swift has above average lift but also limited to end speed

I’ve not seen reviews, but I actually acquired a demo 750 HA from the Maui NP dealer. I haven’t had the conditions to use it yet. I am an intermediate and wanted to try a smaller wing than my Swift 1000, see if speed improves. I got a new 160 EF stab with it, and I’ve been able to try it with the 1000. It really speeds up the system, much livelier feel, no downside. When I get to use the 750 HA, I’ll post a report. I’m not an advanced winger, and I have no other foil experience outside of NP, 19 HP, 1450 Swift, 1000 Swift. The Swifts don’t seem fast, seem to have good lift and low stall.

living in Europe I value that they are made here instead of Asia highly too so no really need to try new stuff from other brands..

would you rather choose sabfoil over NP?

NP has been dribbling out barely enough product to keep me on it, all bought on a discount or demo so I can justify hanging on. I’ve been satisfied, hope to demo some other brands over time as I progress through intermediate, then find the right kit for my style, conditions, and ability. The 750HA is probably the last acquisition.

NP
The NP Swift I used wasnt a bad foil. decent speed and lots of lift for its size like more mordern foils and a stiff mast.
The downside imo is that they lack inovation and always a bit behind the rest. Updates of there gear come imo a 2-3 year behind the pack.
If that reflects in the price and it doesnt bother you on the water then its fine.
If you have a family, busy job/ less to spend or know you are not every week(month?) on the water I wouldnt bother about that, but If you pay a hefty price then there are imo better propositions.

Sab:
I don,t see Sab as an true A label in performance alike Axis/Armstrong/Code/AFS/F4/Lift and some that I probably forget, but good midpack. That is also where they seem to position themself in price as well.
There stuff is good, but personally I miss a bit of magic in it where they excel that I do find in that A list gear
What they do well is that they inovate and regular come with new products that fit in there eco-system and have a good priceconcious-quality combi.


Depending on where you live:
internetbrands like Gong and Takoon can also have pretty good value for money.
I was yesterday talking with an parawing buddy who is on Gong. and had a nice mid aspect frontwing from glass that cost less as my fuse.The few I sailed from them were pretty good and the same with takoon.
You get a lot more for the same amount of money compared to other brands
