How much difference to "old" carbon Slick boom? Worth upgrading?

If I was riding Slicks then I would get the sls boom for sure. It's smaller and oval shape much more comfortable. I just prefer the Unit as mostly wave riding

The SLS miniboom is NOT oval. It is round but with a slightly smaller diameter. The weight is about the same. I like the standard carbon better, but I reckon that I will love the SLS Boom when I start to use gloves within the next weeks

I just picked up a 3.5 SLS for Maui. The stitching for the most part is fine, but there's one small section on the leading edge that could have bee done better. The outermost stitch on one of the panels went over and isn't really holding anything. That's me comparing it to my 5.0 SLS, and 6.0 / 4.5 Unit 2s. But I leave in a week, so I'm just going to send it and hope it holds.

I've just ordered the 3mtr Slick SLS. After the balls up of boom lengths for the V1 Slicks, what length does the SLS use?
I currently have the 5.5, 4 and 2.5 V1 Slicks, and a different length boom for each.

I'm using the same boom. The 3 m SLS doesn't allow using a shorter boom - the middle loop is pass thru.
