I was wondering what foot straps people were using for wing dinging?

I know armstrong have a soft blue strap available - any good? Are there other ones out there available in WA? - recommendations? Has anyone used old kite surfboard straps?- got plenty of those around. Are the bolts the same thread? Thanks

Really good. Super plush and squash down when you need to paddle. Do them up tight so the load is spread by the washer. I think Konrad will bring out some similar ones soon which will be cheaper.

I actually just use a handle from our race boards and it works a treat. I am not doing backflips or anything like that but it fits nice and feels nice on the foot when riding plus it's fine to paddle laying down on if needed.

Just a different cheaper option as many people might already have one of these laying around.

I've got the Takoon v2 straps. They are soft and collapsible like the Armstrong ones but the V shaped front ones fit well on boards that have a single row of middle inserts

Was looking at the same thing today, in WA.
If you want to see them in the flesh, Surfland have the Axis and Sunova straps. StandUp definitely have the Armstrong, and I think the other 2. SurfSail have the Da Kines. Those are my local shops so don't know about any others.

Can't make a recommendation as I've only tried the Armstrong.

For straps from what I've seen you might want to ask which ones to avoid. Every one seems to list what they like, but what did you try that you hated? Save us the hassle. ;)

I e used two different brands of neoprene covered adjustable straps from windsurfers and they were a bit average. They tend to squash flat when you lie/kneel/stand on them and not come back up, which is irritating.
I have now bought the Axis soft ones to try, with the Y front one
