A lot like wing snowboarding on ski slopes. In mid '90's, guys were kitesnowboarding both up and down Colorado mountains..Summit Snowbiard team riders.
I was waiting for someone to try that. Just like hang gliding. But yet to see someone use a large wing with foil jump over the wave from behind and hang glide. Haaa! Maybe lighter if you leave the foil board behind after taking the jump. Ha!
