I know this is an older design but the prices on them have come down and they seem like they might be solid, but I have not really been able to find much for actual user reviews on them. They are 3 years old, someone must have been riding these the last 3 years.

Looking at getting a 5.2m. I'm 80kg beginner. Will it be strong enough in 12-20kt wind as the spec sheet says? I've read that they are very stiff and good for pumping which is why I think they will work for me.

Would love to hear any other input from people who have flown them.

Thanks!

I had this wing and loved it. Best soft handles I ever used and the center one was really useful. It had a ton of canopy tension when I got it, and bagged out eventually but that's to be expected. For $199 it's a no-brainer, buy it. Oh yeah I had the 4.2 and it felt like it had the grunt of a 5.0, I suspect it was a big 4.2.

Had the WR3 which I think had same handles. The handles do become comfortable eventually, but first sessions had skin on knuckles rubbed off from hitting the strut. Bring some duck tape.

The handles are soft? I thought they were semi rigid. Whatever that means. I'm looking at the 5.2 and hoping if flies closer to a 6.0

Yes they are soft, the best soft handles I've used as they don't hang down too far and aren't floppy yet they are long enough you can slide your hands down them from to trim the wing and they are always there in easy reach when jibing. The following season they went to hard handles.

I have the WK 5.2 its a great wing. very do it all. For me now superseded by Ozone Fluxes, but I still keep the wk as my back up wing.

It is big and grunty for a 5.2
