I have seen references to this, but no detail as such.

Is there a recommended mast position for light wind, how about over power conditions?

For reference:
90kg
SS Wing Craft 120L
SS Slingwing V3 5.5
Sabfoil W999/S450 or W790/450

Thanks!

You can move mast forward for lighter (more lift) and back when overpowered. I never move my mast forward and I just compensate with weighting. I do move my mast back occasionally so that I can control my lift when I'm lit up.

As Kane says at the beginning of this clip, mast position forward reduces water in the box and a very stiff wing, it also helps to have a longer board, I have a very short board, 4.6 and mast full forward makes the board a bit tippy with some front wings, so in the end it's a combination of factors

Thanks guys, this is exactly what I was looking for I will give it a try. I'm also going to try moving my mass back when it gets over powered.
