I'm collecting a 5m LT tomorrow morning, and could measure it for you, but DJ will probably be quicker, we are about 12 hours behind in the UK !!

My 5m Matador has a wingspan of about 315 cm (124") and a chord of 193cm (76")

Hi, I measured the 5m Matador LT this morning, both the Matador and the Matador LT have practically the same dimensions at Wingspan 320 cm, and Chord length 195cm.
Surprisingly the S26 5.3m Wingsurfer has a similar Chord length of 195cm, but has a narrower Wingspan at 300 cm.

I've had a chance to ride the Matador 5M LT several times now in light to maxed out conditions. Out of the box you can see the construction is top notch, lots of detail stuff and it's a beautiful wing. In light wind during the pump up on foil and Go phase, I would describe the power as more than my Ensis and less then a Fone Strike. The Handles are the Bomb. Very ergonomic and you can whip the wing around w no play. You can do transitions w/o worrying where your hands are. The directness also helps jumping.
So I felt the upwind dive as well when I first went out in 20knot plus winds going upwind. The wing goes upwind really well but I did find the unbalance annoying. The rec pressure is 7-9. I was at 7 at the time. Pumped up to 8 and it felt much better, 9 and it almost goes away.
So you've already heard, they flag out like nothing else when riding a wave. It's true. and I figured out it's that slight upwind or downward pull that makes it happen.
So there you have it, Naish nailed it in their video, this is a surf wing. It excels in power, flagging out and transitions. It's my favorite now for wave winging or down-winding, I'd lean towards my Strikes for bay, speed or racing. Oh, the coil leash works really well BUT I'm not a fan, every now and then the coils will wrap around something, like a harness hook or wrist in transitions. Can the leash! ??

Thanks for the update. You mention when you increase the pressure the unbalance changes? Will try that out.

Yep...that's what happened. Didn't completely go away but was barely noticeable. But as I said, when surfing I think it's part of the trick to it flagging so well. I'm keeping it ;) Till we go to 4-5th generation ??
