Many years ago I did some sailing on Queens Lake (from the sailing club). Unless something has changed, it would be great. Can't comment on the river or surf.
Queens lake in North Easter is good, highly dependent on angle of wind. Not too much north and not too much east. Bottom is muddy and shallow for first 20 m. Can be awesome. Plenty of ocean options, study the spot and make sure you have the skills to safely navigate the spot. Talk to local kiters and wingers they are a good bunch of people. Aloha
