Wasn't using my 10.6 starboard whopper anymore so l cut a 7x22 wingboard out of it ! Already had a deep tuttle box used for a center fin when using it as a windsurf which was a option with this board , 2005/6 l think.
And suprisingly it works great as dw board ! The tuttle box is in the right place , about 90 L and wheighs 7. 5 kgs . 1 can of epoxy with 1 square meter of 160 g cloth for the rails .

Nice work , just keep an eye on the Tuttle box as I'm guessing that wasn't built with the same reinforcements around as a foil board. Could even leash the foil round the mast plate to the board just in case there's a failure at the box.

Thanks guys . Yes I,m being cautious about the tuttle box by using a mast leash and a mast plate also , l might have to re-enforce it one day .

it would be great if it slotted back into the big board for light wind days

I did see an advertisement of a board that did exactly that , you could add parts on for more volume! Pretty sure it was a German brand.
