After you roll the first side of the wing, tuck your leash under the side thats rolled up. Stops it from unrolling when you roll up the second side.

It's not groundbreaking, but hey I was pretty happy with myself for figuring it out

Exactly, I learnt this from Greg (BRM CLOUD) he just believes that everything should be simple and efficient.
I've been doing this for years with kites and windwings.
Some windwings only need to be folded in half between windows if suitable bag, handles always end up on the outside so no potential damage.
The packing up process as generally taught is antiquated.

I did the fold the strut to the LE thing then rolled. It does end up with a very neat pack.

The downside is that fold is trapped in the tightest part of the roll and I ended up with a permanent crease across the span at that point. It didn't go away after use.

Every piece of soft tech I have used over a number of decades comes with instructions to avoid tight folds in things and to try to make the folds in different places.

My usual process, depending on what's going is to either:
- Don't roll at all. Just chuck the bundled wing into the back of the car and hang it to dry at home.
- For quick packing, tip to tip then roll to the middle. A couple of folds along the length then into the bag
- For neater packing, roll each tip towards the middle. Go past the middle on either side so a different panel is on the centre. Fold and into the bag.

I had a North wing for a while and it specified bringing the tips together on the outside then rolling around the handles. The bag was a long sausage. That was pretty easy to pack and fit neatly in the back of the car. You just had to get your head around having a long thin bag instead of the normal cube shape.

haha unfortunately some spots there just isn't a nice grassy area to rig/derig on the plus side you can park your 4wd 10metres from the water. I guess I should remember to pack a rigging mat or something.

If you pack up by my suggested above one only exposes half of the windwing to the sand which can be brushed or shaken off as its rolled up.
