If you get a chance to visit Raiatea or Bora bora they both have awesome wing foiling - flat water.

So we're in Tahiti right now. Spent a week in Moorea, no wind, but folks swear that Plage des tipaniers is the spot. Problem is that the hotel that sits on the beach now charges an "access fee" of 1500 XPF, but you do get a drink with that. We tried to wing one day, but wind was too lite.
Back on Tahiti Nui for 2 days, finally wind! Hitimahana is the spot. Today East winds gusting at 20kts+ local crew are super chill. We been invited for a BBQ this weekend. Plenty of offers to buy our gear at the end of our trip. I guess they are still having difficultly getting gear. 90% of the gear is old Naish stuff. Some Takuma foils and wings mixed in. Saw a few F1's and Gong wings. Folks mostly riding large V1 boards. Some good riders doing 360's, tacks and some jumps. Most folks just like to mow the lawn and gybe.
We'll be sailing the next three days before getting on the plane. Wind forecast looks good for the rest of the week! Locals told us that there has been no wind for over a month! Some folks skipped work to sail today!

Hi Goofcat, I am off to Tahiti next week. I would love to wing foil if I get the chance. Do you know if they rent any wing foiling gear in the island? Not a lot of info on line. Tahiti Kitesurf Center at Hitimahana, does not repond to email.
