Hi guys, im heading to Yamba in a few months. I've watched most of the YouTube clips of whiting beach and had a read on the wind hounds page. There is the mention of sandbars and foilable from about 20m out at low tide. Im curios to know what length mast people are using there. I have an 80cm mast, are the sandbars at low tide at whitings beach a problem?

will start when it warms up in sep/ oct. have fun.

A lot more to Yamba than just Whitting beach.
Pretty easy to wing Green point in SE as long as the swell is not xl.
Sailing club at Harwood for some lawn mowing in flat water but watch tidal flows.
Best option in South winds is an hour up the road.
Northerly opens up plenty of options if you have skills in waves.
