Try Airborne Kitesurfing. They have pads and stuff, pretty comfy too. Click on their banner ad.

The most comfortable I have tried are the LF pads. They do add a bit of weight though and I have had a few base plates break on them. I've just been testing a set of the new Best Hover pads which are similar but have an eva top which stop your foot punching through under the strap on a hard landing. They are available now through all Best suppliers - call Adranalin Rush (site sponsor) in Mackay to track a set down.

Yep I have Liquid Force pads (the black 'deluxe' mid-priced models) they are pretty durn comfy. Super cushy for landings.

I love the plates as my R leg is plonked on the end of my butt at a differant angle to my L (so I can splay the R footstrap at a diff angle - sweet).

My only complaint is now they have been well worn in, I can't get them just a tad tighter on the tightest the velcro straps go?? I'm size 10 so if your a smaller foot size be wary.

Time for new ones perhaps overpowered? How long have you had them? Would a pair of heelies help you keep your feet in? We have both profile and deluxe ones in stock, and comfy they are ay. Take a pic and show us how bad yours are. I will consider part-exchange if they are still good and useable mate.

G'day Padi,

They are the Profile models which I bought with a Drop 136 (standard)in June 2006. Similar to these liquidforcekites.com except with the previous colour scheme: black base with grey/white flecks upper cushion and black top strap. They have only been used from Nov 2006 until now about 1-2 times a week.

I'll try to get a snappy tonight but they still look brand new, there's no obvious damage/stretches that I have seen.

When i first got em I had them snicked up nice and snug.. wore them in and adjusted em up as far as could go but they have stretched just enough now to come off on some jumps. The straps themselves appear to be at the end of their range of adjustment. Strange. I have kind of wide (and high) size 10s and I would have thought they'd go down to around size 8/9 at least??

Sure love that comfy base on em and when they were snug I was ultra confident they weren't goin anywhere...

Have to agree. They are so soft on landings and really just all round easier on your feet, knees & legs all day. If you dont mind your feet being wedged in tight after your first few jumps (I know most would prefer that, I just have have a little more respect for my ankles tis all) I may have a near new set which I might want to get rid of shortly.
PM me if you're interested.
