Minor flooding is also occurring at Charlton Downstream, while flooding has eased at Yawong Weir and Quambatook. Renewed river level rises and minor flooding are possible at Quambatook early next week as upstream flows arrive. Avoca River to Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Charlton Town and eased at Yawong Weir. The Avoca River at Charlton Town peaked at 5.05 m around 10:45 pm Thursday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 4.91 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Friday and into Saturday. Avoca River downstream of Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Charlton Downstream and eased at Quambatook with renewed minor flooding possible. The Avoca River at Quambatook is currently at 1.77 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Avoca River at Quambatook is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.00 m) into the weekend. Renewed rises to near the minor flood level are possible early next week as upstream flows arrive.
