Sometimes it's good to get back on a basic SUP.

It's easy to get caught up in the latest Carbon construction and go fast outlines. Those boards are cool, they go fast, or if you're into the surfing side of the sport - turn fast or snap well.

But sometimes it's good to get back to the roots of where you probably started paddling.

In the flats. Just cruising.

Seabreeze community member David John has done just that, with his new Naish 11'2" Quest. While not exactly a basic shaped board, it is designed for exploring marinas and river systems. Which is fun!

Watch as he messes around with some pivot turns and explores the Marina ecosystem in Melbourne somewhere, with the brand new Naish Quest.
