cutting then picking out the excess bit of 3" waste plastic, out of the gummy boot mould press machine, for 9 hrs a day!

mind numbingly boring i hear you say.

But it was an open plan factory and every bit of plastic was gathered for ammo; to fire on co-workers, (when the managers wern't looking)

1 pt for a body hit
10 pt for a head hit
50 pt for an eye hit
1000pt for a manager hit

it was the ONLY way to get through the day without slashing your wrists.

I got sacked.

Worked as a w/surfing instructor in Sardinia and in Turkey. I use the word 'worked', but there was little work going on. Mostly drinking, sh**ging illicit drug taking and a bit of teaching. Good fun. Money is super average, but then it's not about the $$. Take plenty of antibiotics.

I worked as a "tour guide" in the mountains of Austria. Was there for 6 years. Lived in the village and I HAD to ski cos I HAD to show off the name of the company on my ski jacket. Organised Gluhwein Parties, sleigh rides to the local farmhouse, toboggan parties, 9 pin bowling, lots of schnapps and BEER. I LOVE beer. Only it makes me FAT. Yeah, that was probably the best one

Depending on the School and how organized you are, you can have an 8-330 day Mon->Fri!
Never consider Teaching just looking at the Holidays, lol. You have the have a drive to do it,

Got to laugh when you hear they are considering amping 'High Quality' Teachers Wages up to $130 000, compared to $70 000 or so after 10 years, when MOST people don't realize the same idea was put forward by Dr. Joe A. Hairston back in the Jan 2006 Budget Recommendations.

HAH! Who defines who is a high quality Teacher. Imagine the uproar if this goes ahead anyway!

So many great job possibilities out there.

Judge in a "Pub of the year" competition.

Meant less time on the water, more time with hangovers, but overall not a bad way to pass time.

HAIRDRESSER: 16 yrs now... and love it! spend you working days making girls look better...

And before the hits come in, No I am not a shirt lifter!! My GF is here for you all to see www.choicekitesurfing.com.au the Blonde with the Slingy board and red spotted bikini is my Swiss GF...

done other jobs... Roo Shooter in Katanning WA, volunteer Ambo in Frankland WA, Fish n Chip shop worker in Scotland, Farm hand in sth West Regional WA, Kite instructor in Sth Spain... and others

but hands down Hairdressing is best...

Now i open myself up here for attack... BUT here goes... I am responsible for the hair of former Docker Paul Medhurst... before you all go mad.. i also did Belly and a couple of others... and for the other side Chad Fletcher, Ty Stenglien, Dean Cox, Andrew Embly and again a couple of others... got to come clean and say i am No footy fan and in fact had to be told who each of them were by other people as i had no idea...

but yes Hairdresser is a job i would recommend to any artistic young man who likes ladies... As most other guys in the industry just want to be ladies!!

oh and for beer: Coopers, can even get it in Switzerland in Zurich at the "Beers of the world" shop 3.80 chf ($3.80au) per stubbie and a 2 hr train ride but it's worth it!!

I was a slaughterman at an abbatoir for a holiday job while at uni. Rather than bits of rubber as ammunition we used to use pigs balls to throw at each other. They still had a length of tube attached to them to swing them around slingshot style and the fatty lining around them made them stick to whoever they hit quite effectively. It was a fun place to work, I've got heaps of stories, many which have made the stomachs of more delicate listeners turn.

Best beer, I'm choosing various Little Creatures these days if I have a choice, but for economy I buy cartons of Hahn Superdry for the fridge at home.

Fair call, & I'm Victorian!!! Although, if you get your hands on a 'Mountain Goat' (pale, I think? made in Melb by a small family brewery) might change your opinion!

I'm a Coopers Pale & Kilkenny fan (hoeg's aren't a bad drop either)...mmm

Tasi beers are up there...

As for best job......have yet to find mine, although I haven't had a 'bad' job either!!

My boss is a bit of a prick, but lets me go windsurfing anytime I want (Self-employed though.....costs to much if I go too often!)
