As for how Mark got red thumbed, I thought that was pretty damn weird too? WTF
Back on topic.
There was Warri and Yatungka, Last of the Nomads in 1977.
aso.gov.au/titles/documentaries/the-last-of-the-nomads/clip1/?nojsAlso there is the Pintubi 9 who came "out" of the desert W of Kintore/Kiwikurra in NT in 1984.
simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pintupi_NineI've heard that the 1st "modern" music they heard was on a Walkman and it was Midnight Oil!
As for now, I don't think so. I've lived out "there" in many very remote communities for lotsa years and there are stories and rumours of relatives who don't want to come in but no proof.
As for 1st contact I have met some of the Pintubi 9 and some older ladies whose 1st contact was a plane and then "Aboriginal Protector". They are all similar stories in that they were $hit scared. Now they are embarrassed and laugh at themselves for their ignorance and nudity. Go figure?
