Had a friend describe her near roll over recently.
after the wheels were dragged into soft gravel on a bend in a road, she said she wasnt sure what to do so let go of everything, pedals , steering wheel, the lot. the vehicle did its thing , some bounces, a spin and finishes doing 60 backwards in the middle of the road. so she stops, turns around and continues driving. that way the damage to the suspension and gearbox didnt stop the car till they were a further 60kms from town.
all i can do is shake my head,
then she tells me about the trip to alice springs, when hubby hit a creekbed at 130kph and holed the oil filter
Nice driving duo those two. Yes the lets let go of everything and leave everything to chance school of driving. A few of the schools graduates drive up my way.
Update after the incident with the hand mashing, the wind blew up 20 knots plus so I went sailing. Had an absolutle cracker of an afternoon and I got sympathy sex when the good lady got home with a nice tea and she even got the dog a big meaty bone. So despite the early morning start the rest of the day was a corker.
