MTB is seriously addictive. Great for the winter when there's no waves or wind.
Fun for the whole family - photo taken yesterday !!
Been riding normal mtb's for years demo'd some electric mtb bikes and never looked back after buying one now a couple of mates have bought them having crazy fun and getting fitter as well
if you get the chance try em.
We all kite and supsurf as well and sailboard 60,58 and 54 yrs old
It's a brilliant t complimentary sport. I noticed the fitness benefits immediately. Great because I can include kids too.
It's as dangerous as you make it. One crash will put it in perspective. There all hard landings!
I'm saving the jumping for water landings. Sailing of course. Landing the bike in a water hole messes up the bike too much.
Tassie has some world class parks; Maydena which is a "Gravity" park. Get in a shuttle and hurl yourself off the mountain all day. Novice to lunatic skill all catered for. Along with on site medi vac! Or Derby which has some mad stuff and some other rides which are stunning, taking riders from sub alpine through rain forest ending up in eucalyptus forest.
Both are a must if you're in Tassie.
