ito front up to an officer of the police 'service' (as it should be known, instead of police 'force'), and be told that after witnessing a crime first hand, doing my civil duty of not taking the LAW into my own hands, but rather observe and pass all relavent information of this crime and its perpetrators onto this government system provided 'service', that its representitive dismiss me and my situation because, its my word against his... sends me the message that hey, maybe what they say is true about police being nothing more than revenue raising social order facists...

That is spot on. It is not the police's problem that your word vs the baddies is not believed in court. Magistrates won't accept it. Simple fact. Yes it is wrong but don't slag the coppers they have to work within the rules set by Govt which are then made worse by court rulings.

As for your stealing example, the little kid often HAS TO get a caution the LAW says they have to caution him the first time. Not the coppers fault.
Good on you for catching him but he can call you all the names under the sun and you can't hit him.

That is not what you said. You said that coppers were "nothing more than revenue raising social order facists" NOT that they were just the frontline of a poor system.
You also sooked about coppers cautioning a kid then saying they coud charge you for assaulting him (which you admit you did).... and sooked about the COPPER who told you they could not charge a person based on your word vs his. You didn't blame into the system, you took a shot at those who have to work within the system. Sounds like you are backpedalling to me. Remember to wear your helmet as you do so
