the poor kids could shimmy down the power line, recover the shoes, sell them to buy drugs off the dealer located right there.???

Untwisting a coat hanger into a long piece and throwing that up has better results for sparks until the wire burns out.

back in the old days we would tie a couple of yards of fencing wire to a big kite( remember proper kites) and fly it up to the lines Good SParks!
When we did it on the HT lines to mandurah We put the line out and my mate blew off a toe nail( that woz real funny later)
