If I get caught smearing handfuls of vegemite on a chicken, will anyone believe I am cooking? ..... and then I say a bloke called Skid told me to......

Yes, I have done it, and yes, it is nice!
Don't tell anyone, but I actually got the idea from a friend who worked in a small family run barb-b-q chicken take away shop many years ago. The shop had a reputation for yummy chooks and did a roaring trade. The staff were all sworn to secrecy.
(Laurie, we need more emicons, like one with a finger across the lips going "shhh")

If you are unsure, just coat one side of the chook so you can compare and contrast.

Please post back on your results.

How do I hold it down whilst spreading the vegemite on? I am sure it will squawk and wriggle

(Starting to sound too much like NasiGoreng's guineapig thread.... )

I will give it a go (EDIT with a raw dead chook)

if you look in the video - although alot of the shots of the tub are buried in Depth of field blur - you will notice that its butter in the tub -

but i do agree that its an important point that should be emphasised

it would be interesting to see how many hackers vs plasterers vs classic cold toast applicators there are out there -

Hey Laurie -i think we need a survey / graph widget on seabreeze - that you can just click on in the thread - so everyone can vote without creating a massive thread that no one will want to read.

Is this possible Mr Lightyear?
