Rome actually.

Clearly the education system has been failing for us for quite some decades.

Personally I bought from Seabreeze however I can not see any reason for not purchasing a kite on E-bay or Gumtree.

This site seems dead against this....Why?

As a Newbie I trolled Ebay and Gumtree and if I had not come here I would have picked up something cheap but probably would have given up in frustration 3-6 months later.
This weekend I will be picking up 2 complete rigs and boards (one for me and one for my kid) which were offered to me by members at quite reasonable prices. So its not just the for sale section...If you put it out there that you need something in particular, chances are someone may have exactly what you are after at a fair price.

Oh and the other thing I found was that "most" ebayers when you asked a question didnt know any of the technical answers..e.g..selling a board without indicating "Volume" which is something I confess I didnt know about until a few weeks ago.
