Wow Sat was the fifth time I put my boat in the water and first time without my mates help.Outstanding effort (as I pat my self on the back) went out from St Kilda Mariner and caught 30 Flatthead I had never caught more than about 1/2 a dozen in my whole life and the three of us collected 30, Wow very memorable. then cause it was mothersday w/end we ventured into the yarra, had a bbq drank champaign ate prawns, kebabs scnamizels salads etc watched fire works from Crown Cassino then came home. 7:30am - 8:30pm big day awsome fun. One happy mum Cheers!

you are a lucky bastard greenleader to have that fly fishing available to you , and to be out there do`n it .
i have only a 5wt and the heaviest leader i have is 6lb flurocarbon . it only gets used to my trips over in kiwi land .

by the way mate , you really should see a doctor about that thing growing out of your mouth .

There's not much else to do when there's no wind!

Edit: It was a bit tough, got to come to grips with these weird northern fishes!

well speared nebs,

but alas the morwong you ate is also known as the "mother in law fish" - suggesting the fish in question is fit only to be handed over to that much maligned person! [}:)]

Mr G.leader , water temp was hovering just above the 15c mark , after 50 mins the body starts getting a bit shakey . my tank was 3/4 full tonight which was a bummer .

theres this older guy that dived tonight and he`s down for around 90-100 mins , he made my catch look pretty average , but this dood is a gun .

Just finished browsing this great thread...

I'll have to get Vic on the map, we've also got a good spot here for fish, squid & crays, (not much luck on the crabs and prawns though). I'm also a believer in only take what you (or your hungry relo's & friends) can eat.

You guys have got me interested, I'll be out within the next few nights, if you don't hear from me again, you know that I've done no good, otherwise look for the BOLD print if I have....(to be continued)

Camera wasn't working too good again but here are a few that came up during another lunch break at work. They came out of 2 meters of water while sheltering from a storm behind an island at the Abrolhos.
