All on Facebook these days. IKA Events is the main source for Italy - you can join this group, or simply follow any of the Australians racing they usually share the results to everyone.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, what I'm taking away so far is that
1. The f-one diablo is definitely in the running, as quick as the others...
and
2. Levitaz has seemingly out of nowhere made it's mark in the hydrofoil side with the Aspect Bionic.

Tiny rear wing, moved further back for stability. Interesting that it's a metal fuse too.

Sonics were doing really well at event. Also Fone kites with fast frenchies.Foils in top 10 were:Maxime, Theo and Axel on Custom sword wingsJulien and Rikki on Spotz2Bennie and Peter on light Levitaz ( works good in light wind but fell back when breeze picked up)Florian Gruber on new Kitefoil Australia VX Race foil ( got faster every race- more angle upwind than anybody)Super fast and close racing. However it was light breeze for 15m mostly.San Fran will show whats really working best in decent breeze.Alejandro did some GPS on the new KFA foil and got 2 knots faster and higher on the kfa compared to his spotz2.stay tuned!

Kite wise where did the R1 and Parvaas sit?

Flo Gruber and Rikki were using R1 mostly 15m. Julien only used 11m Paravais kite in last races of the regatta before he was using 15m Sonics. He struggled on the Fone 12m and was looking for 11m Sonic but there was non available so he stayed on 15m Sonic pretty much the whole regatta.

The class itself, continues to evolve and grow. The kites now primarily the high aspect RAM foil type added yet another twist recently, with F-One kites introducing a third bridal, which allows the riders in induce camber into the kite on downwind legs, effectively creating a more spinnaker like configuration. It did not take other riders on other kites long to quickly improvise a third bridal on their own rigs and stay in the ever changing game.

I gather the new foil on the block goes OK (from results of the Italian racing leg of the racing tour).

above picture shows an extra third bridle to increase foil camber for downwind legs (apparently).

does this mean that all the other new release race foils need to be modified? R1, Elf, Sonic

Will last season's Ozone Chrono be able to be modified in the same way.

So so many questions because I have so little idea...

thanks in advance

The 3rd Bridal is there on the other foil kites... it has something to do with being able to "oversheet" it in such a way that the bridal/mixer setup changes the camber of the kite.. which seems to be unique to the Diablo.

I heard guys are trying to copy it.. I can't imagine unless you are at the top end of gold fleet it would make much difference... Beyond being a cool feature..

they call it the 'turbo' on the fone.needs a lot of turbo tuning ;)
Def increases downwind performance but decreases range.
