How is this comp going to run?
Im thinking of entering simply to kite woodies with no crowd. I havent been down there for years and five mins of flat should be enough for a few more.
Are there going to kickers and sliders involved?, I would be up for that sort of action.

A 30 knot southerly will make for interesting times on Sunday.

I hear there is some real international talent in town.

WTF where is everyone????? come on guys there is less than week to go now before the comp so if you havnt put your name down for it yet or you know of a friend that hasnt put thier name down yet get of ya arse and register. this is going to be the sickest freestyle comp ever.

dont be shy if you can do even a simple trick like a back roll or a raily then you should give it a shot. its not about who is the sickest rider its about having fun and giving it a go.
i'll see you all there

Yeh, I have seen it. Still don't know how it got posted on that site. I was impressed with the photo, the lens was very flattering and I look like a real hard core kiter. I wonder if I will make "sexy kite pic 2007" ha ha.

From concerns expressed in discussions at Woodies today I would like to assure everyone - competitors & spectators alike - that registering here on the forum was not a pre-requisite for competing this weekend.
There has been a much greater level of interest shown than forum replies would indicate.
Every indication; from the forecast to general enquiries; is suggesting that this will be a freestyle extravaganza of unprecedented proportions.
Not to be missed - IMO
Its all about fun & participation, come & give it a go.
