Yeah just want to add my
huge thanks to Mark, Jas and the rest of the SWKK, judges, sponsors, muso's and anyone else involved.....massive effort.
Although at times the wind didn't want to co-operate, it meant that we could get out and have a look around, most of the competitors went on a surf mission up the coast on friday which turned out to be a good choice, and then a surf expression session was held at Logans in the arvo with some nice waves on offer.
The wind came in on the Saturday and so the heats were coming thick and fast all arvo and into the night to get through.
I loved the band Tom Richardson Project that played at the presentation Saturday night and there was also a great line up on the Sunday arvo.
I have seen heaps of good photo's on FB pages so I hope some of them make there way on here.
It was great to catch up with kiters and seebreezers from around the country, a really nice crew, and an awesome location meant there was a great vibe to the whole event.
I doubt that Point Danger at Torquay has ever seen so many kites out at one time as on the monday arvo, when a fair few peeps that were road tripping back to Melbourne (to fly home) or beyond, caught up for an afternoon session, before tucking into a nice steak dinner at the pub.

P.S. I was talking to Tom after their performance and the Tom Richardson Project are coming to Perth shortly to do a few gigs around town and along the coast, so if you get the chance go along and support the guys (and gals) they rock!!!
