Have been learning on a 9m Waroo and am looking at getting a second kite for the light seabreezes. Super stoked with my Waroo and wouldn't mind getting the 13m but wondering whether I should stick with the bow kites. Seems the hybrids are all the rage where I am learning.

waroo is a hybrid[its just not a bow imo]... bows have interconnected front and back lines via the bridal. if your needing lighter wind set up change your board first[its cheaper and less hassle], i was going up wind in 10 gusting to 11 knots on an 11m waroo the other day just by using a light wind dedicated board. [im 80kg]
I would suggest you pop into your fav kiteshop and look at what they have for the light wind if your really that desperate to get out. [when you get back of course]

buy same kite and same brand . keep your gear setup simple through uniformity.
