Sometimes we must bury the past to be born again......how evangelical of me....fark this crappy weather is really getting to me. Was invited to kite in 2 places today and couldn't be stuffed.

Any organisation worth its stuff should be happy to have someone like you poking holes and asking questions................you should almost become and honorary member, keep up the good work.

Has AKSA ever paid out in a law suit?
I'm not for or against anything here, just wondering.

Gruezi,

if you keep making some of the comments you did about 30-35 minutes ago, YOU might need a lawyer.

Talk is cheap Slave. Your concern for an organisation you aren't a member of, & clearly don't want to be a member of, is childish petulance at best.

I have wasted enough time asking you to explain your position but your inability to do so shows you are nothing but a pretender. You talk the talk Slave but don't have the backbone or balls to put your never ending and repetitive posts to any use.

It's sad. You appear to have so much energy & drive, you could make a great contribution but are too spineless to do more than talk.

I'm done. I have things I'd like to see happen & get done for kiting in WA and no more time for your endless drivel. I wish you well. Goodnight.

Waveslave^^^^ If AKSA is more transparent and do the right thing according to leglislation, AND need a laywer to do it in the current climate, what's the problem. They have read and responded to the feedback and are trying to go forward and from what I saw are putting things in place.

I have given some feedback to AKSA and they have not responded in the past(more than two years ago). The main thing that came out in the AGM is that the constitution will be changed as per state bodies and the title of AKSA is an umbrella body for the states.

F@rk off, I've never seen you out in mandurah at all ( I'ts too gusty , wrong direction, too Whatever), and If you want to make a positive contribition , come to your national body, it was 45 min's away. ROb R, are you twins who were separated at birth????

Get a life death leash noob, make a stand or hide out on on forums.

No problem at all filling in forum readers about the lawyer.
Todays AGM officially appointed Mark Hagan (Merrimbula/Mambo Mark) to an official AKSA position as "honorary treasurer".
Mark generously offered. We gratefully accepted.
A true human being full of the goodness of life.

And I agree wholeheartedly with Slave - it astounds me too that such an inoffensive, for-the-good-of-all organisation such as AKSA should need a lawyer
But there you go - astounding as it seems it is necessary.

Seems like its easier to get a reaction around here stirring people up than it is to get a normal question answered hahaha.

If my two cents worth counts for anything; as a real noob to this sport (started in March) and a confirmed addict (3 hrs today at Australind - first ever boosts; even landed a couple), all of the negative c**p spewed forth by individuals such as 'waveslave', 'RobR' and the like get well and truly slapped aside by the dedication, positive vibe and atmospheric efforts of people like Juddy, Gruezi, Phil Morrow et al... Guys, why don't we just write these knobs off and treat them with the ignore they deserve... Just ignore them... Please. It's too painful.

For what it's worth.

Cheers Puppet. ^^^

I'm guessing AKSA would have remained the same...
The same Private Boys Club for another 10 long years...
If it hadn't been for a certain person who demanded some clarity.
That person put a broom through the room.
A clean sweep was needed to stir up the dirt and grime.
His only intention was to make AKSA more transparent for the member's benefit.
But reform never comes without blood, sweat and tears.
As the new AKSA Board pats itself on the back and celebrates a great result...
The man responsible for change is left in the wilderness...
Left to hear a faint cry in the distance...
"Go away," scream the Private Boys.
lol.

Slave, your ignorance and naivety is astounding.
I fail to see how you can comment on such matters when:
1) You aren't a member,
2) You didn't attend the AGM and hear what the REAL people (Phil, Mark, Gavin, etc) had to say about the last year of AKSA and their trials and tribulations.

I guarantee that if you were there, you would not be attacking the character of these all-round good blokes. Maybe you should have left your game of Warcraft and come along.

I'm pretty sure we are done here, and all the big debates about AKSA are starting (!) to get circular.

Let's focus on some positive outcomes for the new AKSA committee, and support them as best we can
