I live on the other side of the bay and want to kite at Altona. Where can i find the most accurate or closest reading for Altona?

take 2-3 knots off whatever St Kilda is reading.

Not too sure how accurate that would be in an ESE or easterly Saffer, as these winds tend to hang a little offshore, usually Fawkner beacon is pretty accurate, yesterday was one of the best days at Altona for the year IMO, consistent 18 to 20 knots and high tide in the arvo, fkn classic!!

Hey Bowski,
Many people out at Altona Fri? I went to Inverloch instead & luckily it came up OK. Not the best session I've had there.

Yeah i was surprised there was 20 out when i got there at 3ish, with another 5 or 6 kites on the beach. I was surprised as i thought a lot of crew would have gone away. No probs with it being crowded as it was high tide so you had about 3 km's of rideable area, still smiling about it actually.
