Kitehard,
All that lecturing and tsk tsking for nothing...
I went out and it was so tame I didn't have to depower the kite once. Great little afternoon session, it was well worth it. Didn't get above 20 knots once.
Obviously if it was 30 knots I would have stayed in, I was asking if it was crazy more from the point of view that it was freezing and raining.
Good thing you are all the way over in WA, I've already got a wife and a mother, I don't need one more nag near our beaches.
Have fun, see you QLDers out tomorrow....
Good on ya!
I'm not concerned that much if you kill yourself, but your death would have significant negative impact on our sport and on anyone else whom you may also take out. (Google Silke Gordt) I care about the longevity and growth of our great sport, and our beach access ..... nationwide.
I will always offer advice to kiteboarders who ask for it, (as you did). My purpose is to serve the greater kiteboarding community, always have, always will.
If what I have to say occassionally upsets, and it does .... so long as it does more good than harm, it's all good.
Happy kiting dude.
PS. I am glad you didn't kill yourself and am also glad you had a good ride.

Kind regards, your WA nanna!
