It doesn't have to make sense - just like the last 10th anniversary issue when the mag isn't 10 years old...[}:)]

If we're going to get hung up about $14 less 3 back issues 'free' sunnies, 80s style pinup girls, blatant advertising on seabreeze forums and questionable editorial conflicts of interest (eg, promoting only benwilson.com on photo captions) then we should be buying other kiting mags.

I personally find that Kiteworld have some excellent how-to tips; interesting, detailed and practical travelogues; engagingly written articles with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation plus photos which are relevant and exciting to my sporting interests.

Most issues do have thick semi clad chick photo on the cover. I find it quite perplexing, as well. Marketing the "S.e.x" Sells type campaign is a little off beat. As the magazine isn't marketed at the general public, but for people eho are interested in kitesurfing. I dont think anyone would pick the magazine up and say
"Gee i might buy this kitesurfing magazine. I dont want to know anything about the sport. But Gee there is a good sort on the cover, i gotta get it."

I am a hot blooded male. And love the look of a good looking chick. But agree it is pretty senseless. Especially, as there never is an article or extra photos of the cover girl.

Stick to kiting guys. Leave the rest to the porn industry or gossip magazines.

Foosh if you love kiteworld so much go live in England and you can froth out on heaps of tech and never get to kite



No one is making you read Kiteboarder - at least it has Australian content - it makes an effort to cover what is happenning right here in australia and support the australian kite industry

There are 2 types of kiters- the ones on this forum who write complaints when they get home after a session, and those who love to suck back a beer, talk ****e and perv on the chicks after a session- kbm is for the second bunch and I for one will be getting a new subscription.

everyone keeps saying half naked chicks and they wanna see more half naked chicks, well im all for the full naked chicks thats sounds like a way better idear and im sure would sell more copies

i look forward to the day KBM brings their next issue out and we don't have to listen to some loser whinging about it having semi naked girls in it.
