Ass - The lunacy is actually pretty good for holding down power... Have you ridden one?

Just thought i'd give everyone the verdict... After riding the 09/10 Underground FLX 132, '10 Slingshot Misfit 136, '09 Nobile 555 131, '09 Nobile 666 131 , '10 Calibre 133 - plus the others mentioned earlier.

Evan's chosen the '09 Nobile 666 131, Evan chose it for the performance, but it was hard to beat for the price!!!

Just goes to show that demoing a heap of boards really allows you to choose the right one for you - Between 2 shops (Kitepower QLD & Briskites) Evan got to ride all the above mentioned boards (at length) to test (and still didn't try all the available boards!)

Do yourselves a favour and go to your local shop, ask what they've got to demo and take it for a ride - then come on here and you can have a justified opinion, rather than "oh that boards this and this etc, naaaah it won't edge well"

^What are you trying to say? that boards with mre rocker have slightly better top end because they are slower due to increased drag from being less effiecient? Which means boards with less rocker (such as lunacy) that are more efficient perhaps have a worse top end???

I have ridden the Misfit with the Bolt-ons... First time you jump on it's suuuuuper slippery (the pads) but eventually the coating wears off and they are mint :) Comfy, laces actually work and tighten up the right bits... From a shop assistant point of view - they are awesome because they take roughly 30 seconds to put on the board lol

if you dont want to be busting you aze in the surf with over power go the airush hammer it good to wash off speed and power when required, but suks up the bumps big time all good if the skill set is there a bit :)

Yep - We waxed ours up with surfboard wax..

Looking at the brand new Lunacy we've got here - it seems as though there's a shiny silicone coating on the top of the pads... Weird
