It seems to work ok.

Excellent! Whatever works for you is what you should use, and enjoy doing it! (..and of course, let others enjoy what they are doing also)

Hmmmm....
That's a strange post, Laurie ?
You seem slightly ticked-off, mate.
I can tell from your exclamation marks !!
lol.

I'm picking-up on the bad vibes, man....
although you did attempt to disguise your displeasure with a token smiley.
Nice.

"let others enjoy what they are doing also" ??????
Errrrr...is that some vague reference to the thumb-voting thing ?
Just a guess.
The crew can click away on the thumbs as much as they wish.
Like, how can I prevent it ?
(But they don't seem to do much clicking, hey.)
Just an observation.

Hey laurie,
You and I are on the same team, man.
I'm not the enemy.
I'm all for improving this discussion forum.

But if you don't like my opinion,
if you don't like constructive criticism,
if you don't like feedback....
then get rid of the feedback section in your 'Contact' column.
Delete 'feedback'.
It's your forum, dude.

Lol, mate i don't think there are that many people willing to give someone a shot at kitesurfing (especially some1 who has from the sounds of it has not experience of the sport) with there gear when the gear is in general worth thousands (might be a bit of an exaggeration but its bloody costly). Just for saftey's sake, do not take out a kite without any sort of knowledge and without some one that actually knows what their doing.(me however, being overconfident, stupid and way to overexcited took out a 12m kite with no experience and even less knowledge and try to play around with it. I nearly ended up getting dragged on the rocks at the spit), kite surfing is suicidally dangerous , especially if you don't know what your doing. If you really want to know what kitesurfings like, get a trainer kite, or a very small foil/powerkite, get a feel for what kiting s about and then get a lesson or two from a professional instructor. And once u do you'll be hooked for life. And by the way, asking for things gets you no where in life, you really cant depend too much on other people, kitesurfers are a great bunch of people in general (you still got some t@$$ers out there), you want something, then you have to get out there and make it happen yourself (either by saving up, or having your parents get you the set p.s getting family members into the sport makes for a great bonus, they have money and they then understand the needs of kitesurfer)

If there was a genuine 14 year old wanting to learn to kitesurf, I think he'd have been frightened away by now.
(And probably now needing councelling...)

oh those words would never leave my mouth, hed kill me lol (not literally). The thing bout beating your dad, its a lot worse when you both start the same day and your already being able to go all directions, launch relaunch and etc all byurself while hes still learning to water launch correctly. Leads to a lot of unhappy arguments and restriction to kitesurfing when and where i want. . . oh well
