Anyone got any info on the surf break out the front..I believe a left and right only to be surfed at high tide..Is it any good/ worth taking a board??

For kiting I think we had at least a 3 hour (maybe 4) window either side of high tide, so heaps of time available for the waves

Are you already goin or thinking of going?

Bugger, that will stuff me mini van hire up, they are only 8 seater

I am still going to get one, so will need to know who wants to split the hire cost

we are now 9 and possible 10 . Good news on the weather front .It looks like the typical Aussie aug westerlies pattern for Australia is setting up (no more slow moving ecl's developing from the nth of NSW and hanging around and causing trough systems developing from the NW of fiji killing the wind ) This means good se trades for fiji you can see the set up on the charts here www.weatherzone.com.au/models/index.jsp?lt=wzcountry&lc=aus&mt=gasp
you can see from fri there are nice tight lines of pressure over fiji with the front and low whipping through NZ well to the south

We are heading up to Safari Lodge on Nananu-I-ra Island. First time for us and not sure what to expect just hoping there a few good days of wind
