Definately sounds like an electrical problem. (intermittent)
Be careful spraying dispersent on the plug leads. Some brands actually soften the silcon rubber and caose problems. Gebuine WD40 is OK but avoid INOX or cheap brands on the plug leads.
If you got water in the engine compartment it could have seeped into the electrical box housing the coils. When the engine heats up the water turns to moisture in the box and can cause the spark to track to earth.
Make sure the plug gap is set to manufacturers specs.
Make sure the plug leads are not damaged or touching any metal parts that they are not supposed to touch.
Also check your fuel filter.
You may have got some water or contaminents in your fuel.
Really sounds like an electrical problem though, with one cylinder miss firing as described.
Try two new plugs again. If it misfires pull out both plugs and compare them. The one that is misfiring will be wet and the one that is firing OK will be hot and dry.
This can help you isolate the lead that may be causing the problem.
Hope this helps.

thanks for that. i think it could b electrical. one of the plugs does look more black than the other. one of the leads gav me a shock wen held over plug cap, like it was leaking electricity. i thought it was bad contact so i snipped the inside wire to give better contact. leak seem to b gone.
