Spacemonkey was only being responsible.
He elected to inform users over the forum of a dead animal on the beach at a kite site.
The smell could attract predators and the sensible thing would be to remove the carcass.
I would suggest a busy-bee next saturday to dig a large grave and bury the creature.

Oh great - just when the stink from the dead shark finally disappeared! Maybe we need to make an addition to the Woodies safe kiting guidelines‘don’t forget to wear an oxygen mask’

Apparently (from what i was told) at the time when the poor seal was just clinging on to life, someone had rung CALM and they seemed happy to just leave it there and do nothing about it.

Dear Dr Azza,

has Nurse Ratched finally stopped giving you cod liver oil for breakfast?

Nurse Dirty Debbie will be available to give you lavender scented enemas if you still smell when you arrive in WA...

regards,

Juddy

Take one dead seal.

Slice through on a plane perpendicular to and approximately halfway along the long axis of seal. A chainsaw or similarly decent tool may be necessary to get through the bones.

Remove innards of top half of seal. Depending on location of cut this should include lungs, heart, food tract etc. Leave bones in.

Cut semi-circle from what was the chest area of the seal.

Place on head in winter to keep head and ears warm.

Or another variation of clubbing seals...

They never buy a round, they dance too close, and their breath smells of herring.
