Is this remarkable or what??

I'm surprised there'e been no discussion/praising/pimping/criticism from the masses.

I bet if he rode another brand we would hear the regular pimps crowing from the roof tops!!!

"The first final heat saw Langeree outscoring Hadlow with more variety and higher moves coupled with double pass moves, outweighing Hadlow's slightly powered moves."

Typical

Stole It !!! You have got to be F$%&ing kidding !!! At the end of the day he won it... It's not like the judges gave it to him 'cos he deserves it ! Jesus ! You can't take it away from him... That's five times... In a row !!!
Perhaps Slater doesn't deserve his surfing title either !!!
What is it with knocking the successful ?
Well done...

and he doesn't ride any of the kites that sponsors of this forum pimp!!!

Maybe his skill deserves praise? or is it the equipment that provides the results??

If he was on a **** or a **** the pimps would be spruking their heads off!!

Strange how in our sport it is the equipment that draws comments and not the rider.

What board does Kelly Slater ride that makes him so good?

Just an observation

hey hirchausen, i think yomofo wasnt given crap to hadlow... he was saying than its typical that the pkra are still punishing riders for lower powered moves compared to triple hundred handlepasses.

He must ride for one of those Brands owned by some rich Texan.
No history in Kites.

Yeah but according to hadlow, some of the stalled grabs hes doing now imbetween passes are actually harder than just throwing yourself into a double pass as you have to get your rotation going again mid flow

In order to win the pkra, he had to actually go back a few steps and start throwing doubles everywhere for the judges. Wouldnt be surprised if he took some time off now as the judges arent keeping up!

As far as i can tell from the kite-history i have read the judges have never "kept up" they were behind from the beginning, the early days of lou wainman saw him losing contests to rookies when he was throwing down a KGB and all anyone else could piece together was a double dangle spin.....

Ah yep, my bad,
Yep, PKRA is still the PKRA.
They still decide what's what,
Hadlow is still the World champ.... again,
Apologies for the misunderstanding, I was dissing the guy who was critiquing the result over some "powered moves" statement. Kinda like having a dummy spit over the ref calling a holding the ball in the grand final 15m out. That's life.

PKRA makes the call = Hadlow world champ x 5

Onto more important things.....3m swell, 20-30knots late tomorrow, must go to bed to get ready for a hard day on the water.

hadlow is sick and very talented, 5 in a row is an amazing feet in any sport. specially kiteboarding, I mean criteria changes, the sport as a whole is still developoing in new ways and judges aren't always spot on..
Give the man a medal, he has done really well on his flexi foils :-)

Hey how did our young Aussie up an comer go in the last event?
Where are you Andy and what's been happening?

Look a like he is the best rider in the world, and if some people are not happy with this.
Go to compete to see if you can do better.
Well done Hadlow.

Heard that our own home grown talent Mr Yates has not done so badly for himself in his first year of regular international competition.

Well done mate -

Yeah I think some people may have misunderstood my post. The top half was a quote from the PKRA media basically saying double handlepass dangles were better scoring than hadlow's more powered moves. That is what i think sux. Hadlow's new direction ( Or Waimans old direction ) in style and power should be marked higher than someone hanging off the handle as if it were a monkey bar.

I agree ^^^^

And style always looks a sh!t load better than scrappy multiple spin pass moves anyway.

Its not 'dancing on ice'!
