Nice one Ian - I look forward to seeing them.

Why are these "second generation" bow kites?

Because obviously, they made a "first generation" which were no good!
So,they trashed them all and made a "second generation " !

and looking at their second generation bar i would of hated to see their first one.

Thier first generation bows probably had motors, landing gears and autopilot. Thats the only way they could of simplified it.

How can they claim second gen bow's just cuz they're the last one to copy the design?? The only thing air rush have invented was the Trio and look how **** that is.

Looks great Ian, would be interested to try,
Bar looks great despite chimps comments hes got nothing constructive to say about anything really.

Saw one at dutchies recently thought it must have been a proto, but the guy was getting huge airs.

ive got heaps of constructive things... like errm, where am i going with this... ok i got nothing onstructive to say

i just think it is real cheap of airush who are the last to get their hands on the design to bring it out claiming its "second generation" when really they are just behind the times. its a cheap marketing ploy.

ok my constructive thing to say is that airush always seem to be reliable kites, seen a few break but they look pretty ok. Definately up there with the other brands, no big standout tho. YAY Airush

Spacemonkey why don't you come to our demo in Adelaide and have a look at the Halo in real life we will be there 8th to 11th of December.Check out standuppaddlesports.com.au/ closer to the time for location updates. Comparing the Halo with an entry level kite from three years ago is probably an unfair comparison.

The Second Generation is mainly in relation to the kites foiling. As with all Airush kites a lot of attention has been paid to the actual way the kite flys rather than adding lots of bells and whistles that don't actually contribute to the flying experience.

To get the full benefits of a bow kite it is necesary to have pulleys and a large depower, so the bar is more complex than a standard bar.

Thanks,

Ian Grose

'second generation' refers to the fact that its going to take that long to sort the thing out that it will be your siblings riding your kite
