lol Havox.
Push it man.
I mean,
what's the worst thing that can happen to you in the Swan River ?
(Other than snapping your rack).
So you drift into some far-off riverbank, big deal.
Don't be phased by Monkeybrains, he's stressing that oneday you might kick his lame arse.

Give the guy a break. Hes hurt himself now and almost drowned himself, Im sure hes learning his limits. We all got smashed learning, especially those of us learning on two lines. Thats how you know what not to do. keep up the good work mate, it might almost be summer by the time you can hit the water again.

Bad luck havox...
Did the same thing on a bow 2 years ago. Might have to get yourself a waist harness for a few months after youre healed..
Kite lessons from Darren Marshall would help you set your limits and generally help your kitesurfing, so dont count them out.
At least it's winter!

He could all ready kick your fat arse.
I encourage people to push it,
My message is more about his Point Walter expeditions.
Havox if you want to know who I am I am the dude who told you to tune your kite before unhooking. Keep pushin it bro' its good to see but be sensible, like trying your tricks close to shore so your not floating amongst motor boats.

You, my dearest, are an idiot. I knew as soon as i read the text "three broken ribs" that you had done it kiting, but since you never charge your phone and always call during work hours on unlisted numbers, i must choose this medium to point and laugh at you. (although that's kinda hard when my non-broken arm is typing, so maybe i'll just laugh at you.) Meet you at the X-ray machine?

Correct Havox
F16: Unhooked Back Roll Kiteloop (to do them proper you have to be layed out and level with kite).

Hey havox, you say you had an impact vest on?
You hit maybe 15 feet?
you broke 3 ribs?
How?

Listen to the advice of the guys who kite like you want to one day.
They got there somehow!

Good luck with the recovery!

well i personally think the guy that it was 15 feet was wrong .. maybe 50 was a bit much but atleast half at 25 :) .. i guess it was just a hard hit brought the kite the wrong way and hit kind of a 45 degree angle.. imagine if i didnt have the vest on :)

Hey Havox

I suggest flying a mattress then there will be a nice soft landing waiting for you on the landing

15ft up - but how fast was he going parallel to the water when he hit?
been there, its painful even if its only a few feet up and your going 30 knots when you hit.
