Last time I got invloved in this issue was as VP of AKSA and was told not so nicely by NSWKBA that the matter was in hand by the said association. INterseting that it is still such an escallating issue. Lucky the local shops have it in hand.

Good luck

Glen

Interesting. I've had a similar experience in SA about a potential impact on kiting in many areas. I believe someone from an association mentioned my posts to a relative who in turn had someone from a government department sign on to seabreeze to "debunk" me. It was also suggested that I leave it to the association to deal with. If we don't all get it together and work as a united front they will just take our spots one by one.

I've heard of a guy who kite at Bondi and Coogee. And he is not a touro's, just plain show offs - F**kwit.

What I can say is that if those bans start getting widespread to regular kite beaches around Sydney, I will pay the c**t a visit.

How is waiting until after the fact constructive?

Has anyone got any stats on beach injuries.

My guess is that most injuries are from surfboards, jetskis and 4WDs.
