And at 2:58pm the question begs to be asked, does

"seen as 3 green arrows appearing on Ocean Reef or Swanbourne graphs"

mean consecutive arrows or just 3 arrows???

Pretty sure it is meant to be consecutive, ie., one green arrow every 10 mins

I didn't see any green on the Swanbourne chart. Either way, it was good timing, I manged to get my last session in before flying out for 3 weeks of surfing. The best thing is when I get back the SWer's should be really kicking in.

Pretty dang close! If we don't get a 20 knotter on both graphs that someone has chosen, I reckon this day should be the winner!

why on both graphs?

"Pick the first day when there is a thermal seabreeze in WA Metro which is over 18 knots for 30 minutes.. seen as 3 green arrows appearing on Ocean Reef or Swanbourne graphs. A real seabreeze only, not a cold front!"

I reckon Ktrin deserves a t'shirt Mr Laurie

If cool with everybody, we'll make it 18knots, rather than 20knots, coz that's when the green arrows kick in, and we can all easily see the winner - there will be three green arrows all in a row, after 12pm on Ocean Reef or Swanbourne graphs. A real seabreeze only, not a cold front!

We're give out 3 kite shirts (& free postage) to the first 3 posts who choose the correct day (and you don't need to be in WA to enter!) Last entry on midnight WA time, 31st August!

It was a seabreeze....
a typical early season weird breeze.
I kitesurfed on my 7m bow that day.
Real seabreezes never happen until November anyway.
I vote that k trin gets the t-shirt.
